Marty's Corner

Ms. Marty White is a Fibromyalgia Advocate from Minnesota. I met her last year at the 2007 Midwestern FM/CFS Patient Education Conference hosted by FACES. Marty received a Sand Castle Award from P.A.N.D.O.R.A. out of Florida to attend a conference in Chicago. Marty and I have become friends and she passes on some wonderful information. I will be posting that info here. Some times I will add my own comments, sometimes I'll just post the info. I hope Marty will eventually join this blog and begin posting the items herself.

Shopping with A Purpose

Former Members, Friends, Directors and Supporters of FACES [The Fibromyalgia Association Created for Education and Self-help] may remember the Shopping with a Purpose Program established by Independent Cleure Representative named Philip. Once the board of directors of FACES decided to dissolve the organization in December 2007 Philip had contemplated retiring from Cleure. Well community conscious Philip is continuing his Cause Marketing Campaign and outreaching to other organizations and charities and establishing fundraising campagins.
